Happy Thanksgiving!

God bless you and your family during this wonderful holiday.  No matter what challenges we’re facing, there’s always something for which we can be thankful.  Seek the positive and you’ll find it.

I had to share the following link from the Washington Post.   What are you thoughts? I wonder if they’re laughing now?

Rise again!

Homegirl’s Lesson from the School of Life:   If at first you don’t succeed, stop and study the failure. What went wrong? How can you fix it? Apply the lessons on your next try. Nothing beats a failure like another try. You were not the first to fall and you won’t be the last. You won’t be the first to RISE again and you won’t be the last.  Life is full of successful people who refused to stay in defeat!  Rise again!

New jobs from AT&T

I saw this encouraging article on AJC.com this morning (Nov. 17):      AT&T Mobility is creating an Atlanta-based division for wireless devices that would add “hundreds” of jobs and help consumers manage their home security, health care and energy use from far away, the AJC learned Wednesday.   Click here to read the entire article:    http://www.ajc.com/business/at-t-mobility-plans-1229470.html

HireNeighbors returns…

Greetings!  On April 29, 2011, I decided to discontinue my work in helping neighbors find jobs.  After much thought, I’ve decided to go for it again.  It’s my way of helping others in the community find stable employment.  Last year, I solved unemployment by hiring me.  I created a cornbread career based on grandma’s secret cornbread recipe.  Local and national media attention contributed to my successful launch.  I lost my home to foreclosure.  I’m taking the pain of that experience and using it to positively come back and purchase a NEW home debt-free.  For the scoop check out www.SaveMissCornbread.com.  On this website, I will also list job vacancies in Georgia and other states.  Check out the HiringNow page.   My main business, CornbreadMillionaire.com, will be back online in 48 hours and it will also have a HiringNow page with job info. International and national media attention is on the way – where I share my story of recovering from unemployment and foreclosure with a creative idea.  I’ll also be doing some cornbread cooking lessons on tv, promoting the website and seeking a book deal along the way. Both  Unemployment and foreclosure, can be used as stepping stones for success.  It’s all in the way you look at it!

God’s delays in our life are often connected in some way to our development. It is dangerous to bring something too early for which we are not sufficiently developed to receive without it affecting our  equilibrium! So let patience have her perfect work in you! Grow strong and stay the course!
